A semi-gantry crane is a combination of an overhead crane and a gantry crane. One side, with a support leg, runs on a ground-running rail; while the other side, without a leg, moves along the overhead track of the factory building. The remaining structure and configuration are consistent with a standard gantry crane. These cranes are typically installed on the structure of indoor workshops or the walls of outdoor workshops.
Users can choose double-beam or single-beam configurations based on their lifting capacity requirements. Zomax single-beam semi-gantry cranes can loads of up to 50 tons. If there is a need to lift heavy or long objects, a double-beam semi-gantry crane is recommended. Zomax provides a maximum lifting capacity up to 320 tons. Gantry Structure: the main supporting structure, consisting of the main beam, end beams, support legs, and lower crossbeam. One side of the gantry with support legs runs along the ground track, while the other side without support legs run along the upper track of the factory building.
Lifting Mechanism: Handles load lifting with various hoist options—chain, wire rope, low headroom, or European-style for single-girder cranes; LH, NLH, integrated, or QD trolleys for double-girder cranes.
