Forging technology

Our forging presses provide the power and precision needed to achieve optimal reduction ratios and material flow for high-quality forgings. With a closed-die design, we produce forged components with superior strength-to-weight ratios suitable for the most demanding applications. We stock a comprehensive range of wheel materials to accommodate diverse customer requirements.

Our process includes rough machining of the inner and outer contours of the wheel blank, and efficiently cleaning up the spare parts of the blank. Our wheel blanks are employed in a wide range of heavy-duty applications, including locomotive traction drives, wind turbines, speed reducers, and mining machinery.

We offer quenching and tempering as our heat treatment capabilities extensively and enhance the mechanical properties of forgings by imparting specific hardness, strength, and wear resistance characteristics to meet various application requirements.. A wide variety of heat treating capabilities are at our disposal to meet virtually any application.

Quality insurance

We use a portable hardness tester to test the hardness of the crane wheel set. The hardness of the crane wheel tread is measured at three points along the tread circumference, and the tread is deemed qualified if two of the three measurements meet the specified standards.

From raw materials to final inspection and shipment, we always adhere to a rigorous quality assurance program designed to meet the most exacting customer requirements. Additionally, we maintain a large inventory of carbon and alloy steels to ensure timely and precise fulfillment of specific needs.
